The first class on February 12th is free. It's an overview of equipment and the costs of becoming a beekeeper. If beekeeping isn't for you then you are out nothing.

🐝 February 12th:
The first class clearly lays out all the equipment required, where it can be purchased and the cost. Knowing the cost before starting a new hobby is important after all. Also, we will give you local contacts to order your starter bees from. Time is of the essence as bee packages and nucs are sometimes in short supply.

All fees, class and OBC membership, will be collected at the March 12th class. Please bring cash or a check. However, if you are certain now that you want to get involved with beekeeping then you may prefer to become a member of OBC online. You can easily do this via the omahabeeclub.com website. The class fee will still need to be paid on March 12th.
